What is Poka-yoke™?
"inadvertent error prevention"
Poka-yoke™ is a Japanese term that means “error-proofing” by implementing simple and inexpensive devices that help operators avoid mistakes in their work caused by using the wrong parts, leaving out a part, installing a part backwards, etc.
How We Apply Poka-yoke™ to Lighting
As expert light installers, we wanted to design a system that is simple, quick, and cost-saving, but also customizable. After years of experience, our Poka-yoke™ Power System brings that principle to permanent LED installations. Every component is pre-configured to connect only one way, so installers get consistent, professional results with less time on site.
- Plug-and-play: standardized male and female connectors ensure fast, error-free assembly.
- No cutting or splicing: simplifies installation, prevents wiring errors while maintaining compliance with most safety codes.
- Clean layouts: components are pre-packaged in coordinated lengths and quantities for easy ordering and installation.
-
Customizable installation: components are available in multiple sizes and configurations to fit any home.
Lights & Components
Pixel lights, ribbon-wire extensions, and wifi-enabled control units handle the data flow from controller to lights with secure connections.
- Connects one way only
- Pre-connected string lengths and counts
- Quick swap / serviceable parts
Power Management
Power supplies, 14-2 power wire, and connection inserts (power/data/ground) deliver stable, efficient energy distribution without field splicing.
- Pre-terminated, male/female connectors
- Clear polarity and mating
- Rapid install & easy maintenance
Designed for installers: Light string lengths and box counts match our track system (e.g., 9 strings per box ↔ 9 track sticks per box). Ordering and layout are straightforward—pair a box of lights with a box of track for a perfect fit.

FAQs
Can I service or replace parts later?
Yes. Components are individually serviceable and designed for quick swap with matching, keyed connectors.
Does the system work on 5G Wi-Fi?
The controller connects only to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. This is intentional—2.4GHz offers stronger wall penetration, wider coverage, and far more stable performance for smart lighting. Most dual-band routers already broadcast a 2.4GHz signal, and it’s ideal for simple operations like on/off control, color changes, and brightness adjustments. Using 5G isn’t necessary and may cause connection failures in corners or long runs.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Detailed warranty terms will be published soon.
